Pattaya International Fireworks Festival 2026: Dates & Best Viewing Spots

Pattaya Bay becomes an enormous open-air theatre on Friday, November 27 and Saturday, November 28, 2026, as international fireworks displays light the sea in synchronised shows.
The beachfront event is free, spectacular and extremely busy. Choosing the right hotel and avoiding unnecessary road travel will matter more than finding a secret viewing spot.
Festival essentials
- Dates: November 27–28, 2026
- Location: Pattaya Beach and the bay
- Admission: free from public beachfront areas
- Format: two evenings of choreographed international displays, music and food stalls
Exact performance times and participating teams can be updated closer to the event. Treat any unofficial minute-by-minute timetable as provisional.
Best places to watch
Pattaya Beach
The central sand offers the most direct atmosphere and sound, but fills early. Bring only what you can comfortably carry and agree on a meeting point.
North Pattaya and quieter beach sections
Views may be less central but access can feel more manageable. Confirm sightlines because trees, buildings and the bay’s curve matter.
Rooftops and sea-view rooms
A reserved rooftop table or genuinely bay-facing room provides comfort, but prices rise sharply. Ask whether the view is direct, whether a minimum spend applies and whether outside guests can enter.
The simplest strategy
Stay within walking distance of your viewing area. After the finale, thousands of people request transport at once and short journeys can take a very long time.
Road closures and transport
Beach Road and connecting streets typically face closures or traffic controls. Final measures will be announced nearer the festival, but visitors should already plan for severe congestion.
- Arrive in Pattaya by early afternoon, not shortly before the show.
- Avoid a same-evening Bangkok transfer.
- Walk back to your hotel instead of waiting beside Beach Road for a taxi.
- If staying in Jomtien, expect a slow return and pre-arrange transport where possible.
- Keep emergency access lanes clear.

Family and safety tips
Families can enjoy the festival, but the beachfront becomes noisy and densely packed. Use ear protection for children, stay farther from speaker towers and avoid squeezing into the central crowd with a stroller.
- Carry water and a small power bank.
- Protect phones and valuables.
- Photograph children’s hotel information in case the group separates.
- Never launch personal fireworks or drones.
- Follow police and event-staff instructions.
